The guys from Home & Away wanted to create a really cool concept for a sports bar and restaurant that was unique in the restaurant industry -- they had a firm idea of what they wanted their digital marketing look and feel to be: a nice mix of contemporary restaurant brand design with a positive message and reverence for the past.
We were able to translate that graphic design direction into a firm repeatable identity that sticks out from the typical Calgary restaurant marketing.
The focus upon opening was to provide branded print and digital material to promote their restaurant online, offline, as well as with in-store information pieces. Social media marketing pieces were a mix of brand, photos and humour that were designed to create awareness and engagement with organic users. Ads were built featuring menu items and daily features to target customers on nearby mobile devices.
The design needed to mimic the in-store customer experience, which is very unique.
