Flames Central is downtown Calgary’s hockey and sports headquarters and if you’ve never experienced a live sporting event from the comforts of their incredible establishment we highly recommend it!

Our aim was to focus on text treatments and colors to create unique designs for the many different theme nights held throughout the season, while at the same time creating an aesthetic that allows the customer to clearly pinpoint these events as being Flames-related and Flames Central-hosted.

After the photo shoot, the fun work really started.  Cathy Simone dug in deep to create some amazing final images from the studio shoot. From there, we were tasked with shooting backgrounds to drop the girls into and designing the layout of the calendar.

It was a really fun project that we are proud to be a part of, with all proceeds going to Breast Cancer Research.

We were tasked with creating a “station domination” campaign that captured the attention of the Metro riders in the city.  We created a very refined image-based campaign that highlighted the establishment’s strengths: service, food, drink, sport.  We attempted to keep a sophisticated aesthetic that matched the regalness of the hotel, the bar is located in.  This campaign appears in print and broadcast throughout multiple stations, buses and trains over a 6 week period.

In post production, we created a number of items, but wanted to show off some of the photo-based stuff for this post.

The campaigns consisted of an extensive nationwide print roll out from billboards to billfolds, adbuys, web integration and social media engagement.  The campaigns also featured extensive local store marketing and mobile solutions. The full package!

One of the great pleasures of working with such a large brand is that we get to realize our work in such a wide variety of media.  As such, it places a much higher emphasis on campaign harmonization, which we view as one of our large strengths.

Simple Simple created the Blue Star Diner branding, as well as interior and exterior signage, menus, website and advertising campaign. Shayne and his family are always a pleasure to work with and their enthusiasm and dedication shines through in all aspects of this project. In addition we were also able to once again work with talented photographer Sean Dennie, who helps bring to life any subject he captures.

Simple Simple provided brand to market services, creating logo, signage, print, interior concepts as well as rolling out a vibrant social media and advertising campaign.  It was an absolute blast bringing this project together and we can’t wait to watch this brand become another Calgary mainstay!

We were happy to provide The Big Cheese with brand to market services, creating an original logo, interior & exterior decor as well as their tartan-based aesthetic for their print material.  It was a really fun project to work on. Check out the pic with Trav and the mayor!!
