Flames Central 2011 Calgary Flames Campaign

Most of us here at Simple Simple HQ are gigantic hockey fans (some might say bordering on obsessive), so when Flames Central asked us to create their print campaign for the Calgary Flames 2011-12 season we were more than happy to oblige.

Flames Central is downtown Calgary’s hockey and sports headquarters and if you’ve never experienced a live sporting event from the comforts of their incredible establishment we highly recommend it!

Our aim was to focus on text treatments and colors to create unique designs for the many different theme nights held throughout the season, while at the same time creating an aesthetic that allows the customer to clearly pinpoint these events as being Flames-related and Flames Central-hosted.

Shark Club Calendar Launches

We’re excited to announce that the Shark Club calendar has launched in Canada and the UK. We wrote previously about Jfry’s time at the photo shoot, which you can read here.

After the photo shoot, the fun work really started.  Cathy Simone dug in deep to create some amazing final images from the studio shoot. From there, we were tasked with shooting backgrounds to drop the girls into and designing the layout of the calendar.

It was a really fun project that we are proud to be a part of, with all proceeds going to Breast Cancer Research.
